John Desmond Ltd have successfully designed, manufactured and installed staircases in all configurations and materials.Our capabilities include straight flight, helical, spiral and escape stairs in stainless steel, brass, bronze, aluminium and mild steel sections. We also incorporate oval tube into our designs where specified. John Desmond Ltd can offer various shot peened or bead blasted finishes as an alternative to powder coating, satin, bright and mirror polishing.

We are able to incorporate glass balustrade panels, timber treads and handrails, glass treads, stainless steel shot peened handrails and stoved painted finishes as part of our bespoke service.

The experienced estimating department at John Desmond Ltd can submit budget costs for all types of staircases upon the receipt of concept drawings and materials precifications and, where appropriate, can offer advice on more cost effective alternatives. The design team, including directly employed qualified architects and draughtsmen, offer advice on specification, building regulation compliance, performance and aesthetics. John Desmond Ltd adds value to quotations and tender bids by offering samples of staircase components, products and finishes for approval prior to construction.
